Brasserie La Coupole

Hemingway, Aragon, Picasso, Kessel and many others were faithful customers of this brasserie in Montparnasse. Before being a restaurant, the Coupole was a place where people bought wood and coal. The 32 pillars in the immense dining room were painted by students of Matisse and Fernand Léger.
